All modern Light Rapid Transit Systems (LRTS) such as light rail systems and trams are fully wheelchair accessible. Many operate on new tracks with purpose built stations, others are partially new but also use parts of redundant railway line and have refurbished stations. LRTs currently in operation are:
- London Docklands Light Railway:
between the City of London and the East London area as far as Beckton and Stratford and South East London as far as Greenwich, Lewisham.
