The Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC) is consulting on its strategy for 2005-2007. DPTAC has asked for comments by 17 January 2005.
11.10.04: DPTAC Annual Report 2003-2004
The Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee today published its Annual Report 2003-2004. The Committee provides independent advice to the Secretary of State on the transport needs of disabled people. It also advises on disabled people's needs in the built environment. Door to Door has been developed to give disabled people information about transport and advice about travelling using all forms of transport.
Door to Door will be updated regularly to reflect improvements in access to transport vehicles and interchanges, as well as keeping you informed about changes to Legislation, regulations and good practice.
Door to Door brings together in one website all the information that disabled people need to make informed decisions and choices. However, if you want to find out more detailed information about specific issues, the website also features direct links to the websites of other organisations.
